Text Navigation for the Visually-Impaired (TNVI) was a summer NSF REU project at DePauw University. We were exploring the use of surround-sound audio to aid the visually-impaired in using a web browser. With a project partner, I developed and tested an initial prototype of a browser that read web pages using what we called “spatial sound.”
TNVI is the subject of the following poster presentation:
